Overlay Cowl Kit
A fine net overlays an ever-changing background in this fun slip-stitch cowl. Knit in a tube for cozy warmth and no wrong side, then grafted for a seamless finish, this a nice skill-building project for newer knitters. Sample cowl is knit in Vineyard Gradient with Verde.
This is an intermediate knitting project. You should already know how to knit, purl, and work in the round, and either know or be up for learning a provisional cast-on and grafting.
Finished Dimensions: Circumference: 80"; Length: 7.5"
Kit includes one gradient cake of Black Diamond Alpacas fingering weight alpaca yarn (750 yards), one skein of Seismic Yarn superwash extra fine merino wool/silkyarn (437 yards) for contrast color, and the Overlay Cowl pattern in both printed format and PDF download code. All items are packaged in a bag as shown, with the pattern folded to fit inside the bag.
These items are not included, but will be needed to complete the project: US 5 (3.75mm) 16″ circular needles or size needed to obtain gauge, US 5 (3.75mm) or smaller 16" circular needles for grafting, 2 yards waste yarn, stitch marker, yarn needle.
