Switchback Cowl kit

Sinuous curves of lace wind their way through this lovely cowl, reminiscent of the way narrow roads zigzag up steep slopes. It’s small enough to tuck into your purse in anticipation of a cold day, but generous enough to keep your neck cozy and warm. This is the perfect project for a luxuriously soft yarn. This is an advanced beginner project. You should already know how to cast on, knit, purl, and bind off.

Kit includes one skein of Black Diamond Alpacas Sport/DK Weight alpaca yarn (150 yards each) and the Switchback Cowl pattern in both printed format and PDF download code. All items are packaged in a bag as shown, with the pattern folded to fit inside the bag.
