Gridwork Slouch & Cowl Kit
Three colors play musical chairs in this fun cowl, each striping with the others and taking turns in the foreground in sections of varied length. The stylishly slouchy hat is knit with a coordinating variegated yarn for a set that goes together without being too matchy. The slipped garter stitch pattern is reminiscent of the ridges and furrows of a freshly planted field. Sample hat and cowl are shown in Anticipating Autumn colorway.
This is an advanced beginner knitting project. You should already know how to cast on, knit, and purl.

Kit includes four half-skeins of Wonderland Dyeworks Sock superwash merino wool/nylon yarn (195 yards each), and the Gridwork Cowl and Gridwork Slouch patterns in both printed format and PDF download code. All items are packaged in a box as shown, with the pattern folded to fit inside the box.
These items are not included, but will be needed to complete the cowl project: US 5 (3.75mm) knitting needles or size needed to obtain gauge, US 4 (3.5mm) and 6 (4mm) 16” circular needles or size needed to obtain gauge and 2 sizes smaller, US 6 (4mm) set of 4 double-pointed needles or size needed to obtain gauge, G (4mm) or larger crochet hook for provisional cast-on, 2 yards waste yarn, yarn needle.
